I recently had the opportunity to do an interview podcast with Nancie Clare, the host of Speaking of Mysteries. If you haven’t gotten around to her site yet, you really should. She and podcast interview partner, Leslie Klinger have put put together over one hundred author podcasts, including some of my favorite mystery writers; Michael Connelly, T. Jefferson Parker, Robert Crais, Marcia Clark and Tana French. So you can imagine how excited I was to participate in this incredible podcast series.
Nancie and I discussed AT WHAT COST, my novel recently published by Crooked Lane Books and how that story came to be. Some real life experiences and prison incidents played a big role in establishing the plot for the book.
The interview was a lot of fun and through her sharp audio editing skills, I don’t sound like too much of a doofus.

Congratulations!
Would that be “the” Marci Clark of OJ trial fame? John Bachelor does a lot of author pod casts too. I like listening to these because it is often a type of Cliff Notes for the book. Will check her out. I ordered your book; waiting on delivery; Shell already has it.
Oops; didn’t proof read….Marcia; not Marci.
